Dr Bike Days for Workplaces in London, Surrey and the South East (Bike & E-Bike Health Checks)

“We come to you.” Safer bikes, happier commutes, measurable impact.

Dr Bike London is the ideal solution for employers managing teams on bikes. No matter the size of your team or the scope of your site, we bring Cytech mechanics directly to you. Count on our professional and efficient fleet maintenance, which includes running structured bike and e-bike health checks. We handle the setup, bookings and comms and carry out safety checks and minor fixes on the spot.

Our Workplace Dr Bike Options

From half- to full-day sessions, fleet assessments and maintenance, we do it all. Simply pick your workplace Dr Bike format that suits your site and headcount. Each of our options includes a standard bike safety check (M-check), brake/gear adjustment and tuning, tyre inflation and quick safety fixes. And for high demand, we can add security markings or bring in extra mechanics.

Half-Day Dr Bike (1 mechanic, approx. 5 to 10 bikes)

Enjoy total confidence in your fleet with our Half-Day Dr Bike for employers. During Half-Days, we send out one mechanic to service between 5 and 10 bikes. They’ll carry out an M-check and perform a safety tune on each bike. The service also includes minor adjustments on brakes, gears, tyre pressure and bolts. If you need parts, we bring the basics along such as tubes, cables and pads. Bear in mind that additional spare parts are not included in the price and require prior approval before installation. With us, you get a pre-event booking link/QR code and a full comms pack for greater confidence and more peace of mind.

Full-Day Dr Bike (1 mechanic, 10-15 bikes)

Our Full-Day Dr Bike on-site bike checks include everything we offer in the Half-Day maintenance sessions and more. During Full-Days, we allocate one mechanic to your premises, who can service from 10 up to 15 bikes. Plus, we will provide you with a post event summary with counts and common issues. With staggered booking slots and throughput planning, your fleet is in excellent hands with us.

Manage an e-bike fleet? We can help. Choosing our E-Bike Focus Day option includes e-bike safety. This means tyre and wheel checks, brakes, drivetrain and cockpit assessments, repairs and maintenance. We’ll also perform a visual inspection of your connectors/cabling and provide basic error guidance. But that’s not all. We handle battery/charger checks and simple sensor checks, where applicable. Your assigned mechanic will also give you detailed advice on care, range and charging practices so that you know exactly what to do and when.

As part of our Fleet & Cargo Day options, we carry out workplace cycle surgery in London, Surrey and the South East. Regardless of whether you want your facilities or logistics teams to ride safe bikes or whether you need minor repairs on the day, we come directly to you with our workshop van. Since we don’t require a large area for the service apart from parking, we’re ready to go as soon as we arrive. We’ll carry out prioritised checks for pool bikes, cargo and delivery e-bikes. We will also perform tyre management, brake pad/cable swaps, chain wear checks and as an optional extra, we can provide you with a quarterly schedule and fleet report.

FAQs

  • Do you service e-bikes on the day?

Yes. We carry out standard safety checks and basic troubleshooting. Where firmware or deep diagnostics are required, we’ll advise on the next steps.

  • How many bikes can you see in a day?

For our Half-Day Dr Bikes sessions, one mechanic can serve approximately five to 10 bikes. Meanwhile, the Full-Day session means one mechanic can attend to around 10 to 15 bikes in one day.

  • What space and facilities do you need?

All we need is a place to park. We come with workshop vans and work from these so limited space is required for the service to be carried out.

  • Can you provide RAMS and insurance details?

Yes. Risk assessments, method statements and insurance certificates are available on request.

  • Do you replace parts on the day?

We carry common consumables. If parts are fitted, they’re billed at agreed-upon rates. Larger jobs are quoted before work commences.

  • Can non-cyclists attend for advice?

Absolutely. Bike setup tips, route advice and security guidance are all part of the day.

  • Do you cover multiple sites or offer recurring sessions?

Yes. You can set up quarterly or monthly rotations across sites, with consolidated reporting.
